Logo Design Brief

NOTE: The images we uploaded are just rough ideas. If you download them, make some kind of small tweak and reupload without drawing a new design from scratch don't expect a good rating or to be chosen for the project.

Draw This is an upcoming website where fine artists can find tens of thousands of references images from which they can draw or paint. We're looking for a great logo to accompany the new brand. We've included just two of the ideas that we've been exploring. Your design could be similar to one of these or different. Both use a fountain pen (a drawing tool our instructors use often) but the logo could instead incorporate a pencil. The logo needs to be flexible enough to be used in different contexts (video stinger, homepage logo, watermark). The logo can't be too big/elaborate or over the top since it won't occupy much space on the top of the web site. It needs to look good small or large in other words.
