Logo Design Brief

The logo is for VoterGr.am, a website where voters will be able to go and send a 'telegram' type message, printed on paper and hand delivered, to their elected official. Also, the logo needs a unique mark and a single color selection. The votergrams would be printed on a colored paper in black ink. We are leaning toward orange, which is bright, noticeable and unique color-wise to what may be on the elected officials desk at the time. Although we will consider other color selection ideas that you may have.

As a second stage, the selected designer will be required to create the artwork for a telegram in order to complete the project. This design needs a designed 8.5x11 page for the telegram which would include the logo. Feel free to use old telegrams as inspiration. Google "telegram" under images for some examples. What we want is a design that mixes the old with an updated 21st century look. The votergram will need a "to" and "from" area, plus area for RE: or subject and message.

We will want font recommendations from you as well for the printed text in the votergram. Consider the selection as a part of the either old or new design elements.
