Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for a local non-profit. It's a business group that seeks to support our local school system by raising funds and getting involved in the politics of funding education. The name is Manassas: Edge so that would be the main part and the tagline would be "Our Business is Education". I have no preconceived notions on design or color although I'm a fan of blue....:)
