Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for Sri Lankan Railway. A little bit of information about it:
Sri Lanka’s rail transportation has a history of over a century. It has contributed immensely to the growth of the economy of the country. Initially it played a prominent role in the growth of the export sector of tea, rubber and coconut which formed the backbone of the country’s economy. Today, Sri Lanka Railways provides a valuable service to the traveling public, especially commuters to and from Colombo, continuing it’s journey.

We only want these colors;
DARK BLUE, RED, WHITE, AND OR BLACK. (No green color at all)

We also like the "United Airwarys" logo, as well as the New York "Amtrak" logo.

The logo has to fit a very serious/ corporate style. No animals/ cartoons etc.

Target Market(s)

Sri Lankan Railway is managed and controlled by the Sri Lankan Government. This service is used by a large amount of people in the country.
