Logo Design Brief

We would like to come up with a new logo design for the launch of a new product and packaging.
The product is for the off road / four wheel drive market.
We are probably looking at a linear design as well as a more traditional logo.
The type of style we are looking for should be similar to the Aussie 4Wd Groups logo that we have attached, but are open to new suggestions.
