Hi
Is Pty in your required text correct, what does this stand for. Thanks

Pty Ltd means 'Proprietary Limited'.

This is the symbol required indicating that the business is registered as an Australian company.
This symbol 'Pty Ltd' is required by law on our logo, but can be smaller than the main business name (HVAC Spares) if required.

Thanks for your enquiry

Hello, seems like a cool project.
Do you really require "Pty Ltd" at the end of your logotype? Have a look at the most recognizable brands out there, the logotype usually just contains the name. "Pty Ltd" and similar details are included in legal documents and trademarks, but not logos.
My two cents.

I have put the question to our accountant for advise.
The law says that if you are registered as a company in Australia, you must display Pty Ltd, unless the company is also registered as a business with each state it is trading in. In this case it means you are 'coke pty ltd' trading as 'coke', and you then only need to display 'coke', even on legal documents.

Our other businesses all have pty ltd on the logo, but I am going to follow this up and hopefully have a response for you within 24hrs.

Cheers

Cool, thanks for making sure. It's really hard, from a typographic perspective, to create something decent - those little particles break all the aesthetic balance.
