Wordpress Design Brief

I need a website design for a new website which will provide different search and directory listings related to horse & riding sports.

The website is called www.pferdenamen.at - which translates into "horsenames". In the current phase the website only hosts the largest online ressource for horse names with the features to randomly select horse names, rate & rank horsenames, submit horse names etc...Over the time the additional directories will be added, e.g. link collections for riding schools, blacksmiths, vet, stables,...

The design needs to include a logo with the capability to be recognised as a (new) brand. The logo shold be primarily character based (horse, part of a horse, rider,...). The website name "pferdenamen.at" can be part of it, but the logo also needs to be applicable without the website name (i.e. in case the domain name changes)

The website needs to include google and banner advertisments.

Integration with facebook is planned.

Normal horse related sites are semi-professional in look & feel. I want to differenciate from the other sites already with the look & feel.

Visitors come to the website to find a name for their horse. The website should quickly help the person to find the name..and in later stage show him/her other interesting things, like a good vet in the relevant area, etc.

Target Market(s)

Everybody who has a horse or is interested in horses.
Predominatly female in the range of 12-40years
TargetMarket is German Speaking. I.e. idealy text is in German.
