Graphic Design Brief

Inspired by long summer nights and crisp blue waters, Sea Salt was born. With a focus on effortless elegance and uncompromised comfort, the brand promises to deliver kaftans and beach dresses that you will wear all throughout your summer!

I would like to create a logo with the brand name, Sea Salt, with a drawing or sketch inspired by the sea.

I prefer simple uncomplicated designs, yet I would like an element of creativity. I will endeavor to use this logo on the labels inserted in the clothes, as well store stationary.

Requirements

Must have

• I would like to create a logo with the brand name, Sea Salt, with a drawing or sketch of something related to the sea, for example a starfish, a shell, a seahorse, waves, etc.
• I prefer simple uncomplicated designs, yet I would like an element of creativity.
• I need both the brand name and sketch to be included in the logo, see attached example

Nice to have

• The below attachment is a logo I found online showcasing a starfish with a brand name across. The dotted starfish is an element I really liked, but would also be open to see new techniques on other objects.
• I like cursive fonts, but not too stiff or traditional. I prefer a font that flows and embodies the moment of the sea.
• Sea Salt shouldn't be too spaced, a minimal space between the words almost as if it's one
• I love the combination of blue and white, though not too dark of a blue.
• Not limited to but preferred designs are starfish, sea horse, or sea shell

Should not have

• The design should uncomplicated, as it should fit on clothing labels and stationary.
• It should not have many colors, 3 maximum.
• The font should be legible on a white backdrop
• No fish/sharks/dolphins in design
