Logo Design Brief

Tree of Life is an ecumenical coaching ministry that offers support to churches, businesses, families and individuals.

This logo needs to be simple, whimsical, elegant and light. The tree in the background should look more like a scrolling vine yet tree with a thicker base which goes into a simple root system. Branches going from thicker to thin at the ends. Very few leaves here and there to keep it light and simple.

Requirements

Must have

• New logo which I sketched and wish for you to make better, simpler. It will be used for this postcard and for all future marketing pieces. For print work I would like either the cross to be metallic or the tree...you pick. Otherwise this logo will be used on shirts and caps as well...so therefore the need to be simple yet identifiable.
• I would like the logo with the metallic look for print work, and without for clothing, etc.
• The cross is the "T" spelling out "Tree of Life" but if this doesn't work well it is ok to have the cross stand alone. I don't want to make it to difficult to read but I do like the idea of the cross being the "T." Yet the cross needs to stand out as a cross and not get lost in the word "Tree."

Nice to have

• -I like the simple swirly modern look in graphics.
• -I would love a logo with "Tree of Life Ministries" and one without the word "Ministries"
• -I would love a log with metallic and without to save to my computer to use in different occassions

Should not have

• -Not a thick, clunky logo...light and airy...spiritually inviting by its graphic movement
• -Colors light and airy, spiritual, earthy... I really like blues with a silver metallic. Blue cross with silver metallic tree or visa versa.
