Logo Design Brief
We are seeking a clever ‘family’ of logos for a number of related businesses that also operate separately. The first two businesses are Better Engineering and Better Pumps. New businesses names will follow the same structure ‘Better ’.
The logos for each division should clearly work together but also stand alone. Focusing on the ‘better’ aspect of the businesses with design reference to the business type (ie: Pumps / Engineering).
The target audience for all these brands will be commercial building managers and other professionals in airconditioning and fire maintenance. These will generally be male, aged between 35-55.
All decisions made in the design of the logos (colours, shapes, fonts etc) should be informed by the question of confidence – with a confident name like Better Pumps or Better Engineering, the design should reinforce, clarify and substantiate the claim.
We are currently working on a positioning statement / tag line to add to the logo. Please allow for this in your design.
