Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new start local construction company. Ideally we are looking for a simple logo conveying a construction theme perhaps with emphasis on the "K" and "C" element of the business name and incorporating the strapline of "Extend. Refurbish. Repair." within the logo. Preference to colour scheme would be more muted than bold but open to ideas.
