Logo Design Brief

We are an online equine product sales company based out of NC that sells a product called "Greenguard Grazing Muzzle". It is a grazing muzzle for horses designed to reduce grass intake in horses at risk for a disease called laminitis. (Both Secretariat and Barbaro died of this disease). Laminitis pathology is similar to diabetes in people, but can be even worse for horses. It can cause the hoof wall to detach from the hoof bone. As the saying goes, "No hoof, No horse." If it is bad enough the horse must be euthanized. Many of our customers are interested in natural horsemanship, hoof care, and horse nutrition. Our grazing muzzle's open design is unique and more comfortable than anything else on the market in the U.S. currently. Horses find it less constrictive, more open and breathable. Our trademark slogan is "Better Design - Happier Horse".

We would like a logo that has some green color in it (think green/grass), a simple horse head or full body sillouette or outline, maybe a shield (think guard) and/or a hoof reference. The final design should communicate happiness (think happy horse), and strength/protection, but not be cheesy. We would like something fairly simple (2-3 colors) that could be used for website, business cards, pamphlets, etc.
