Shared Waters
Life changes, nature balances.
- We share this land together with nature.
Replace above with a Roderick Haig-Brown spiritual quote.
Roderick was known as one of the world's greatest conservationist and anglers. He lived on the banks of the Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada. He passed away at age 68 in 1976. He was a writer, and a visionary that could see into the future.
My proposed mission statement; Shared Waters Collection items sold will help generate moneys for non-profit conservation groups and related organizations, for giving Mother Nature a helping hand.
My Grandfather built our original store in 1946, a building supply business. My parents turned the building into a sporting goods outdoor retail store in 1964. We are located on the banks of the Campbell River, which has now become a B.C. Heritage River. 5 years ago we built a new building, in behind our old one.
As the President of River Sportsman, "we think of conservation first!", And at Shared Waters, "we believe in giving Mother Nature a helping hand!!"
