Logo Design Brief

Rose is the name for a new technology company which is at the intersection of artificial intelligence, design, and data analytics.

In practical terms, this means we do two things. The first is analytics projects on a service model, kind of like palantir (www.palantir.com), the second is we are building a website/product that will enable people to see, shape, and structure the data that is important to their business or research.

We want the brand identity to be a mixture between organic, natural, and fluid, and technological, structured, and logical. Something that brings out the inherent tension between these two opposing forces while nodding to both.

We need a Rose logo + the word Rose on a white background in color.

Attached please find some very rough examples. We like the rose emblem I already created, but need help refining this into a more professional logo, using this as raw material. Play with the colors, and the pieces that can create a rose emblem.

Want to really see what is possible at the border between organic and high tech. Is it possible to create an image which is clearly emblematic of a flower and all the organic/'feminine' connotations but one where the elements/pieces that are put together are clearly technological, structured and 'masculine' in nature. Like the idea of composing the rose out of straight lines and angles to get this effect, but really want to see what you think would be striking visually. The winner will be the one that manages to evoke the tension in a way that communicates 'beauty' and 'technology'.

Nice to have

• In the attached examples, the font/pen strokes were done on a tablet simulating paint. I am not wed to that and would like to see different types of pen strokes. Meaning, we are open to different logos with different balances between rough/clean lines.
• The block with the triangle inside is supposed to represent a piece of data created with our system, so a small triangle or symbol like that at the center of the rose which can be animated to GROW into the bigger logo would be excellent as a way to represent the evolving and fluid nature of our product.
