Logo Design Brief

I am working on a logo for my herbal company Monkey Flower Herbals. I make tinctures, tea blends, salves and other natural medicines and herbal treatments. I would like the design to include both a sunflower and an abstract monkey outline. I would like it to have some earthy, tribal elements with a vintage and sort of organic feel that communicates health and vitality. An idea I played with sketching was a circle which was half sun and half sun flower, with two monkeys in the center creating a yin-yang design (see attached photo). The main concept is to create a communing of the monkey and the sunflower, perhaps blending the monkey tail into sunflower stem, creating a circle with the monkey holding the sunflower. The logo has to be simple enough to be stamped onto small bottles and tins, and preferably will include the company name. I have also attached an abstract, tribal style flower design I really like, as well as a picture of a tattoo of a monkey outline.
