Podcast Design Brief

We need a podcast logo for a new show. It must comply with published iTunes guidelines of 1400x1400.

The concept is "Bangin' Your Business", without the quotes. It's an edgy (but no more than PG-13) show covering insider tips and strategies for Business IT Consultants looking to "explode" their businesses.

The main components are:

- Show title (see "logo text")
- Sub text (much smaller) "Hosted by Corbin Links". "Hosted by" and "Corbin Links" should appear on separate lines.
- The word "Your" should be different size, angle, and possibly font from the rest of the text.
- Color palette should be on the masculine, darker side of the palette, *but not depressing*. This is an edgy success-driven show.
- Design should be very edgy, very modern. Urban, but not culturally specific.

Tagline: "Exploding your life" ((no period at the end))

NOTE: Reference files have been removed. Too many designs were copying the look. There is one attached file to edit out and use for my picture element.

My attached picture should be used, BUT, it needs to be pulled out of the background it is in. Please DO NOT submit any art with me standing in front of the plant. You'll see more of what I mean when viewing the previous designs. Also, please "heal brush / fade out" the chest hair.

NOTE: I have also adjusted the color sliders based on recent designer feedback.

Please submit 100% fully original artwork.

Requirements

Must have

• See project brief. Minimally includes
• (1) Host picture in the graphic (chest hair edited), it should be brushed out.
• (2) graphically interesting background. non-standard fonts and imaginative themes.
• Think outside the box, this should not be something that can be easily done on Canva or similar sites. I like backgrounds which depict a busy, successful looking city scene. (Buildings, skyscrapers, etc.) BUT, the city should not be uniquely identifiable. For example, if you choose a New York, Dallas, or Chicago background, it should not be obvious it's one of those cities.
• (3) Must include the tagline "Exploding your life" between the show title and "Hosted by" byline. Also, my picture should blend with the background as much as possible, so it may need a *slightly* darker tone or filter.
• Line 1: Bangin' Your Business (big, bold, lots of contrast, "Your" is emphasized.
• Line 2: Exploding your life
• Line 3: Hosted by
• Line 4: Corbin Links
• and my picture, somewhere down toward the bottom left or the bottom right.
• (4) My picture should have a slightly darker contrast, and NO red or blotchiness.
• (5) The whole design *must* balance. Vertically balance (even whitespace between top and first elements, and bottom and bottom elements.) Same for horizontal page balance. I'd recommend designing with grid options "on", so you can see how all the elements line up.
• (6) The tagline "Exploding Your Life" is a tagline, BUT, it's only 30 - 50% smaller text than the main show name. The word "Life" should really stand out with different font, color, contrast, or other pictorial elements.

Nice to have

• Contrast, bold fonts -- especially non-everyday-fonts seen all over the web. Bold modern colors.
• Edgy, but *slightly* conservative. Design, though square, should nicely scale to lower dimensions, or lend itself well to scaling horizontally for use a website banner.
• **NEW** -- I've updated the design to include a tagline. The tagline should be placed somewhere between the main "Bangin' Your Business" and "Hosted by..."
• The tagline is: (without quotes): "Exploding your life" (no period). "Life" should be emphasized, possibly with a darker font and a style of "oblique."
• I'm partial to font families similar to Avenir. This is in *no way* a requirement, and am very open to green field designs.

Should not have

• Bright reds, or any "stop colors".
