Web Design Brief
I need a new website... very visual and evocative as we are a game reserve in Namibia and want to entice people to come and stay.
We have 5 different lodges on the Onguma Reserve as well as two campsites and offer various game activities in Etosha and on our Reserve. We cater to various travelers - from luxury to camping - families to honeymooners... Each lodge, and it's unique selling points, needs to be featured, as well as the campsites. We need a gallery where our trade partners can download high res images of each of the camps. In addition, we need a strong call to action - taking people to a buying decision to make a booking. We have software that will link the site to a real time booking engine. I need max content management functionality.... and highly seo optimized as we want to grow our online booking capabilities.
As our site is used by both consumers planning a holiday, and the travel trade looking for detailed information about each lodge and room type, the site needs to address both user's information needs.
I have loaded a brief doc with some content and proposed structure - it is 8 pages. Instead of designing a page each for the camps, I suggest you only do ONE template page that can be duplicated per lodge.
Here are some lodge websites that I like - in no particular order:
http://singita.com/ - nice clean lines and understated text
http://www.unchartedafrica.com/ - creative layout with sliced image banner for lodges and evocative images and clean space on lodge pages
http://www.sabi-sands.com/
www.andersdananders.be
http://www.virginlimitededition.com/en/ulusaba
http://www.lenordik.com/
This is what we have at the moment... www.onguma.com. Can you do better?
Thanks
Wilna

Requirements
Must have
- *Lots of emotive images
- *Gallery with downloadable images
- *Strong links to book - via an online booking system, so the design just needs to incorporate a booking button and calls to action.
- *page for the reserve and what you can do there and game activities on the reserve
- *space/button where we can upload factsheets for each camp.
- *rates and special offers page is a must
- *contact and book now page
Nice to have
- * I have just received some 360 degree room and lodge images. It would be great to include those.
- * We have good Tripadvisor ratings for each camp - would be great to have a block on each lodge page that pulls the latest reviews.
Should not have
- Not typical safari elements like "Big 5" and paw prints and porcupine quills - those design elements are a bit done in our industry
