Logo Design Brief

Bionic Beetle is a London start-up in need of a brand new logo!

Our main service is providing consultancy services to other businesses in the UK, primarily focused on web and front end development. The styles and values for inspiration are :

- technology
- modern
- quality
- professional
- and fun!

As the name suggests, we obviously would like a beetle to be the main (if not only) focus of the logo. The beetle (or its head, silhouette, half body, etc..) should NOT be gross, repulsive, scary or too life-like. We don't an exact replica of a real life beetle with detailed hairy scary legs or antennas that make people look away! It should be something futuristic, stylized, pixelized, illustrated, cartoonish, etc...

We would be fine with a monochrome design. If multiple colors are used, it would be good if it can be scaled back to 1 or 2. Bonus points if it can be scaled down very small and still looks good (ex: 16x16 or 32x32 icon).!

Don't spend too much time on the name "Bionic Beetle" or the font, focus on the beetle/design.

I've attached a bunch of logos for inspiration, stuff that we like. Obviously, all these logo are copyrighted, so it should serve only as inspiration and not to copy the design.

Requirements

Must have

• A beetle.! (but not a lady bug) It could be from any angle (top, front, side...), just the head or face, just a silhouette, etc...

Nice to have

• A look that's futuristic, pixelized, mono or duochrome or fun and cartoonish.

Should not have

• No lady bugs. Nothing gross, ugly, repulsive. We don't want a real life-like beetle.
