Logo Design Brief

Project Brief.
We require a logo for our newly formed company; AES Australian Equipment Sales Pty Ltd. The company will be operating online only, selling a wide range of equipment from weighing scales and Point of Sale Equipment (cash registers etc) to packaging and food equipment. The company will be targeting both retail & industrial markets in Australia and overseas through various online channels.
Design.
We would like “AES” to be the focus of the logo, however we would also like the words “Australian Equipment Sales” to be included. Perhaps beneath the AES or wherever you think this would work best. We would be willing to consider a type only approach
We would like two versions of the logo, a full colour for use on the website, and we’d need a single colour design for printing invoices etc. on laser printers.
In terms of colours we were thinking the following colours would be appropriate but we’re also open to suggestions; Blues, Deep Greens, Blacks..

• Emphasis on initials AES in capitals pr lower case. San serif font. Clean clear look. Can appear to look glassy or solid looking. Name of company to be included.

Should not have

• Logo should not look busy, cluttered, messy.
