We need a WordPress design/concept for an established auctioneering company specializing in Benefit Auctions, Estate Auctions, Business Liquidations/Overstocks, and real estate marketing in the Chicago area. The winning design will have a professional look appealing to clients searching for these services.

  • - We will require winning designer to provide a layered PSD (Adobe photoshop) concept file, along with any non-standard font files used.

    The site's navigation: 1) Home, 2) Auctions, 3) About Us, 4) Buyers, 5) Sellers, 6) Media, 7) Contact Us. Horizontal structure preferred.

    A slideshow element will be represented (choice of files attached) preferably in the header. The following widgets will also be incorporated into sidebar (or other creative placement):
    - Constant Contact email signup
    - Featured Auctions (example shown in http://www.auctionbyhomeowner.com/ as "Upcoming Auctions" widget)
    - Youtube video widget
    - Social media widget for Facebook, Twitter, Youtube icons
    - Testimonials widget

    Winning design will creatively use colors in logo (with perhaps accent color) with a professional, clean look. Client mentions liking the use of color in http://www.reshowcase.com/

    Footer of site will have generic contact info (phone number, email addresses, mailing address; a smaller instance of logo; and the attached association logos.

  • - Use of drop-down menus should be demonstrated by incorporating mouse-over for 1) Upcoming, 2) Online, 3) Past, under the 'Auctions' main menu item (for clarity of design, this drop-down can be placed under any other menu item if necessary).
