Logo Design Brief
We are the Association of Transformational Leaders. A global non profit of authors, speakers, workshop leaders, coaches and trainers doing personal development work around the world. We have several chapters and more on the way. I belong to the Southern California Chapter of the Association, which is the largest.
Concept:
The logo will be for our chapter and then we will change the name of the location for all the other chapters.
Use: ATL and combine that with a logo mark that indicates human potential and transformation
Use: Lettering: Associaiton of Transformational Leaders
SoCal or Southern California
We would like our logo mark to have the following attributes:
- Modern
- Colors – blue and dark gold
- Combination of mark and the letters ATL (mark) + Association of Transformational Leaders (copy next to logo)
- IMPORTANT: The combination of Logo Mark and Lettering needs to indicate human and global transformation - learning, evolution and leadership and light heartedness.
Primary use of the logo:
Web
Print
Members: will use the logo in emails and on their website indicating their Membership in Association
So there will be two versions of the same thing. One with the word "Member" and one without.

- The colors picked as part of this brief are my attempt to get as close to the colors we currently have in our existing "logo." Please note, we are not wedded to those colors and you can suggest changes.... blue/grey and gold are our preference and something we are comfortable with but we are open if you have a better idea.
- Designers.... After seeing many many designs from you all... I would like to provide this feedback to you all. Keep it simple. The winning design will be simple, clean, and beautiful. If you design something with a graphical element to, make sure it is simple and clean and doesn''t necessarily take the eye away from ATL.
- The most important elements to emphasis are "ATL" and then the chapter location such as "SoCal" (or Southern California). Keep in mind that some of those chapter locations can be shorter or longer names. Typical chapter names would be "Mid-West" or "East Coast" or "Australia" or "Hong Kong." They type style you select for ATL is very important. Keept it simple and clean and beautiful. Thank you all for your work and creativitiy on this project
