Button animals for game

Develop animal character graphics for a game. The animal characters are called "buttons" and should be round and be reminiscent of those big gold coat buttons. Each animal will be round and have an innocent, very cute look, along the lines of Hello Kitty or a teddy bear. It should not have over-the-top smiles or anything wild or goofy. They need to be very simple so that they show up well reduced to 64x64 pixel size and still be clear. In addition to the animals, we need a variety of accessories that the animals will have or wear, listed below. The game software will overlay the accessory graphics on top of the animal graphic, so you only need to supply the accessory in one file (not separately for each animal).
