Designer Payments Help
Setting up a new payment method
NOTE: From September 17th 2018 Skrill will not be available on DesignCrowd
The payment center is located under "Payouts" in the main menu in MyAccount. If you win a contest or receive a participation payment, your payment will be paid via Payoneer or PayPal. In the payment center you can add any number of accounts to which your payments can be made.
We have set payment thresholds (above or below 100 units of currency) to provide you with flexibility to manage fees and charges you may incur from your existing accounts.
Payment Providers can charge flat fees to the account holder to receive payment, annual account service fees, currency conversion fees, transaction charges as a percentage of total payment to name a few. You will need to carefully review the fee and charge schedule for your preferred Payment Provider(s).
For Payoneer users, you don't pay any fees to receive your payout regardless of size. When converting funds in your Payoneer account from USD to a local currency, the FX rate is 2.0%. Paypal charges at least 2.5%. Skrill FX fees are 3.99%.
