This is for the cover of the Arctic Yearbook. You can see past covers at arcticyearbook.com
This year's theme is "re-defining the Arctic". I want to incorporate this old 1676 map in it . You can see how is is unfinished. And it is called 'incognito'. I like those elements a lot. It reflects that we are still defining and imaging what the Arctic is today.
The title is:
Redefining the Arctic: Sovereignties, Policies and Perceptions
I need incorporated: (1) the old photo, (2) this year's title, (3) the Arctic Yearbook 2021 logo, (4) the editors names ("Eds. Lassi Heininen, Heather Exner-Pirot & Justin Barnes"); and (5) the Arctic Portal logo and ISSN number (ISSN 2298-2418) on the spine or back cover. You can see how those more formal elements were incorporated in last year's cover (attached), and in years past from our website.
We do print some copies so while the focus needs to be on the front cover, I will need the file to include a front and back coveā¦
