One of his earlier memories involved designing what he now knows to be user interfaces in Microsoft paint. Then taking apart a computer in a vain attempt to figure out how it worked. Unfortunately, putting it back together again proved to be an impossible task. Since then Trevor has learned much in regards to how these contraptions work. He’s a system builder and a rather impatient network administrator. Active Directories, VPN’s, File and Imaging Servers are all things he can setup. But unfortunately it’s something he’d prefer to avoid. After all, knowing how to manage a network of computers doesn’t making doing so any less infuriating. After several years of community college and a slew of jobs in food service, web design and network administration Trevor decided to pursue a Bachelor of the Fine Arts in Advertising at Academy of Art University. As a web designer you need to be able to create layouts that make your site as beautiful as it is easy to navigate. But the primary function of most sites Trevor developed was to sell something. Advertising seemed like a good fit. Now two years into the program he is currently refining his skills as a designer and applying his unique skill set to create odd projects for web and new media. While also pursuing work outside of school to aid in the creation of a book that just might get him a job at a Digital Agency or Startup. Inside and outside of school Trevor has learned that the Internet is on track to becoming the only platform to communicate with consumers on. He plans to become a master of creating compelling content for this new platform. hide
