( what looks good "today"..may not look so hot tomorrow )..try to remain timeless. I am the head designer for a major sign sign company, and have found that most designers are "breathlessly naive" about the nuts and bolts of what happens to artwork "beyond the monitor". ( Waaay more to it than quicky webpages..for instance "signage" (kind of a biggie) ..! In 30 years you watch companies grow..or die. Dare I say a forgettable "plain" logo might get you an "A" in school,..but will it get a "second look" on the street? Its your money.
