When I work with Commercial Art ...more My name is Jordan Harris and I am a Graphic Designer. I studied at Southwest Baptist University to learn this craft. When I work with Commercial Art I am reminded that everything in our society relies on it. From cereal boxes to television shows, our world is subconsciously effected by commercial Art everyday. I begin a piece by researching the target audience and putting myself in their shoes. What comforts them? What do they worry about? These are the emotions and thoughts that I focus on when creating my art. I know a piece is complete when I have effectively conveyed the information, and made it aesthetically pleasing to the target audience. When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment. If a business is able to grow because of my work, then my goals have been met. hide
