Since graduating from college with a BA in Comm Studies, I started work with a local children's magazine as a design associate and quickly worked my way up to Creative Director, where I designed the entire magazine each month along with any requested ads (all sizes) from sponsors. I received extensive experience and training in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. I held the position for almost three years. I excelled with a unique fusion of skills and responsibilities with the challenge of designing for multiple audiences (students, teachers, advertisers, publishers) all in one publication. With the publication coming to a close, I've begun my work as a freelancer. Coming from the magazine world, I am no stranger to edits and designing to the audience/client's vision. My main focus is being easy to work with, executing a client's vision, and always making the client happy. I would love to design your next project for you.
