In 2013 I graduated as a bachelor of Art and Technology at the University of the Arts Utrecht. During my time at the University I took on several small freelancing design jobs and ever since I graduated I've become a full time freelancer. In my relatively short career I've worked on a wide arrange of jobs, from creating logos for small starting businesses to festivals and the likes, all the way up to creating art for big names such as Carte Noire and Quiznos. When it comes to design, I believe simplicity is the key to perfection. Upon viewing a design for the first time it should provoke a clear and powerful sense of what is essentially represented by the design. Stripping a design down to the core not only allows us to do so, it also gives us the possibility to focus on aesthetics, not having to worry about the noise that so often clouds and overcomplicates things. hide
