I like to hand-draw my designs, effects, and textures. I understand how colors work with each other, how light interacts with objects, and how to make any design catch someone's eye. My personal favorite things to do are character design, victorian/steampunk themes, elegant things, even designs featuring a more whimsical, Tim Burton-like look. I am also very open to try new and other things.
