I started out using Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 and just ...more I kind of fell into Graphic Design by accident. I always knew that I liked art of any kind. I started out using Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 and just experimented with it, creating fan art for musicians that I liked. But I never realized until two years into college, after a series of failed attempts at other degrees, that Graphic Design, as a career, was an option. And so now, here I am, learning as much as I possibly can. I am currently attending Delta College but I will be transferring to Ferris State University in the fall of 2013 to obtain my B.S. in Graphic Design.  My art is mainly inspired by music. When making art, I usually try to emote what I feel a set of lyrics represents to me or a feeling that I feel when listening to music as a whole. I do this with my non-musicially-inspired works as well. I don't start work until I've done some research first and I keep researching until a spark hits. Then I sketch the concept out in my sketchbook and bring it into Photoshop or Illustrator. This doesn't always work this way. Sometimes I'm confident enough in an idea that I immediately bring it to Photoshop and edit along the way. Some ideas never leave the sketchbook. However, that's why I love Graphic Design. It's ever changing and always interesting. hide
