I'm about to publish a book that is a business fable about a CEO of an up and coming telecommunications company who has to go through the most intense personal rebirth in order to save himself and his company. Having come from the old industrialist mould of management, Howard (the main character) has got to the top by dehumanising his staff to get maximum productivity out of them. On the eve of a massive product launch that is set for failure due to his staff's lack of buy-in, Howard has a car accident and wakes up in intensive care in hospital.
