This is what a business in France was looking for in their book cover design

“Crim’” is the informal nickname used inside the French police for the "Brigade Criminelle de Paris", an elite homicide unit. The apostrophe reflects spoken language and internal slang. The title Crime à la Crim’ highlights the central irony of the novel: a murder committed inside the very place meant to investigate murders.

Summary
A woman’s body is found inside the offices of Paris’s elite homicide squad. As detectives investigate, they uncover buried cases, internal rivalries and institutional silence. The closer they get to the truth, the clearer it becomes: this crime was meant to stay hidden.
