Every open brief contest that is run on DesignCrowd is a blind contest. That is, while the contest is at the open stage, each of the participating designers can only see their own designs and not everyone else's. Once the contest reaches the completed phase, we allow designers to view all other submissions.
The reason why we conduct contests in this way is because:
- Promotes more creativity from designers
- Designers who produce good work have a better chance of winning the contest as other designers can not copy them once they have submitted
