DesignCrowd Help

How do I add / edit my designer skills for my portfolio?
These skills can not be edited by a designer - instead they can gained by submitting designs on DesignCrowd.

The DesignCrowd system automatically takes care of tracking what a designer submits to and their skills in different areas. As a result, designers simply need to submit to particular project types to receive the skills. The criteria to receive a skill against your portfolio is:
  • Submit to at least 5 different design type projects (eg. 5 or more web design projects will get you a web design badge).
  • Any designs which have reported copyright or clip-art issues are ignored from the count and will be investigated by the DesignCrowd team.

Designers are able to earn the skills in any submission area, such as:
  • Graphic Design (all designers will begin with this by default)
    • Logo Design
    • Web Design
    • Wordpress Design
    • Stationery Design
    • Poster Design
    • Brochure Design
    • Signage Design
    • Flyer Design
    • Icon Design
    • Business Card Design
    • Advertising Design
    • Book Cover Design
    • T-Shirt Design
    • Print Design etc.
Gaining skills not only attracts more project invites from customers, but also helps improve your rankings in design-type specific rankings lists.
