Design Description

The first thing that you''ll notice about this design is the straight-forward presentation of the event details with the date highlighted in the red circles. This is for customer information and also to make each event as important as the next.
I have used the slogan ''community. connections. collaboration.'' found on the website in order for the customers to immediately form a positive impression of the event.
This is the front cover for the brochure and so it will be the first thing the customer see''s, so the main color used here is a deep red to expand the companies brand identity from their website. I''ve stuck to one color in order to keep the design looking modern and up-market. The design is relatively simple with clean lines and a good amount of white space to keep the brochure looking sophisticated and professional.
Although the design borders on the unconventional, it manages to do so in a basic way so that the design does not distract from the information provided which is the main focus of the project. Minimal amounts of color have been used here which is quite unusual for a front cover, but is much more effective than overloading the page.
The design is customizable for each separate event, with the date, city and venue in prominent positions.
